Space has found its new home! Introducing Space Curator Studio – a design & interiors studio with a difference.

From space concepts to manufacturing, design, implementation, luxury lighting and bespoke furniture pieces, we’re passionate about curating spaces. We are also delighted to welcome members of the Coote & Wench team to the studio, assuring you of lighting design excellence and master craftmanship that you’ve always know from Coote & Wench. Their legacy lives on in The Space Curator Studio. 

Our current offering encompasses 3 aspects: 

Space Curator Studio Design handles all projects that are commissioned by a customer that need to be custom-made. This pertains to bespoke pieces designed and manufactured by our in-house manufacturing team.

Our manufacturing capabilities include everything from lighting (indoor & outdoor) to interiors, including metal furniture, metal mirrors and decorative accessories. In addition, our passion for restaurants and hospitality allows us to offer design advice and implementation of all interior design aspects for hotel & restaurant clients.

At Space Curator Studio, we pride ourselves on our core collection of uniquely and Proudly South African designed lighting solutions including table, standing, wall and ceiling lights. Our range currently includes 24 beautiful designs & variations and incorporates materials such as brass, copper, aluminium, steel, cork, marble, concrete and wood. Our client base currently includes, amongst other, game lodges, decorators, retail and private homes. Our team has a collective 30years+ experience in all things luxury lighting.

Inspired by our love of furniture and design from bygone eras, Space Curator Studio SLVGD collects and revives magnificent, highly sought after, collectible furniture and decorative assets, including art pieces. We have an eye for detail and a unique take on restoration of collectibles to make them desirable for the modern-day consumer. We take hard-to-find, one-off pieces with timeless style and restore them as interior assets that make a statement.
