Our Story

Our story

Space Curator Studio began with a simple belief: the pieces in a room deserve as much thought as the room itself.

Michael brings with him almost two decades of running a five-star hotel and an instinct for how spaces are shaped and lived in. Norman has spent the past thirty years shaping brands and ideas. Together they've built a studio where design and the art of making happen side by side.

Today our designers and makers create premium furniture, lighting, accent objects and hardware, by hand and built to last. We bring a design-led approach to industrial methods, and we are always developing new techniques and finishes.

Above all, we work alongside architects and decorators: taking their ideas further, or creating something new on commission.

The founders

Space Curator Studio is the brainchild of a hotelier and a media strategist who share a love of manufacturing and beautiful, hand-made décor, furniture & lighting.
